If your project involves changes to an existing building, such as removing or replacing drywall, demolishing walls, or making framing changes, a building permit is required. For home additions, we will guide you through the process to ensure the necessary permits are obtained before the project begins.

The process for accessory building construction depends on a number of factors. Usually starting with some form of excavation and foundation work, ending in finishing the exterior. The process of accessory building construction is unique to your property and your vision for the building itself. We would be happy to walk you through the process of accessory building construction during a consultation so you know what to expect every step of the way.

In preparing for a legal suit renovation, it is important to realize that these projects can often require a substantial financial investment and can be more intensive than they seem on the surface. Beyond that, it is helpful to be aware of the building codes that apply to legal suites and any municipal specifications.
